They’ll grab a €2–€3 bottle of water or a quick espresso, then pick up packaged snacks from duty free instead of queueing again at Food Village for hot food. That approach saves both time and a few euros.

Watch out for the seating crunch: in July and August, people report every table occupied and some passengers sitting on the floor by nearby gates, especially on Saturday evenings. If you spot a free seat near Food Village before ordering, grab it first and take turns standing in line. Your practical move: eat before the airport, then treat Food Village as a backup for drinks only.
