Prada

T2

T2’s main luxury run features a full Prada boutique

On the departures level of Terminal 2, Prada sits on the primary luxury strip after security, in the international section. You’ll see it in the same row as other high-end brands before you reach most long-haul gates in T2. Figure 5–10 minutes’ walk from central security, depending on your gate and crowd levels.

This is a full-line Prada store by airport standards, with current-season bags, small leather goods, shoes and accessories all in one space. Prices track mainland China boutique pricing, so don’t expect duty-free steals; think flagship-store levels, just inside PVG T2 instead of downtown Shanghai on Nanjing Xi Lu.

Stock skews toward leather handbags, nylon lines and wallets, plus travel-friendly pieces like cardholders and pouches that actually fit into a carry-on. Ready-to-wear is limited compared with a city boutique, and shoe sizing can be patchy on busy bank times for flights leaving between 22:00 and 01:00.

Staff usually handle payments in RMB and major cards, with Alipay and WeChat Pay common for Chinese departures. If you’re connecting, have your onward boarding pass from T2 ready so they can process duty rules correctly for international flights. Keep an eye on promo tags; occasional airport-only gifts-with-purchase appear on bags or small leather goods.

Build a 15–20 minute buffer if Prada is a priority stop in T2; walk there first from security, then backtrack to your gate rather than trying to squeeze it in during final boarding calls.
