Gate-side reading fix before boarding in Terminal B

News & Books Kiosk sits in Terminal B at Punta Cana International Airport, in the main departures shopping strip after security. It’s a small stand-up kiosk, not a sit-down shop, so think quick grab on the way to gates B1–B8 rather than a long browse session. You’re through immigration and security already when you reach it, so it’s a final call for plane reading and last-minute gifts.

Stock skews toward magazines, paperbacks, and kids’ activity books, with a rack of Spanish and English titles that rotate with the tourist seasons. Expect airport pricing: paperbacks run several dollars higher than in town, and imported magazines come with a noticeable markup. You’ll also see the usual travel add-ons like neck pillows, basic headphones, and a few snacks and drinks, handy if you skipped the larger duty free in B terminal earlier.

Figure 5–10 minutes here if you’re just grabbing one book or a crossword, longer if you’re hunting for something specific in English. Staff handle quick ring-ups in USD, Dominican pesos, and sometimes euros, just like most shops in Terminal B. Inventory changes often, so don’t bank on a specific title or brand being in stock on your flight day.

Tip: if you care about selection, stop here before walking all the way down to the higher B gates; it’s easier to shop first, then head straight to boarding when your group is called.
