Gate-side tech stop in PSP’s Main Terminal

This Tech on the Go sits past security in Palm Springs’ Main Terminal, right along the concourse traffic, so you can duck in on the way to gates without backtracking. It’s the primary electronics shop in PSP, so if you forgot a cable or adapter, this is your realistic shot before boarding.

Hours generally track flight banks, opening early morning for the first departures and staying open into the evening until the last Main Terminal flights clear. If you’re on a 6:00 a.m. departure, expect it to be one of the first stores with lights on; late-night delays sometimes mean they stay open a bit past the posted time.

Stock hits the usual airport tech needs: USB-C, Lightning, and micro-USB cables, basic wall chargers, power banks, over-ear and in-ear headphones, plus a few Bluetooth speakers and travel keyboards. Prices run higher than Target or Best Buy; think roughly 20–40% more for a cable or power brick, which is standard for airport retail.

You’ll see major brands like Belkin and JBL alongside generic travel labels on the same rack. Name-brand power banks and noise-cancelling headphones sit at the high end, often in the $60–$200 range, while generic wired earbuds and basic cables can slide under $25 if you dig a little.

Staff can usually test a cable or charger on a demo device, which helps if you’re unsure it works with your iPhone, iPad, or laptop. If you’re tight on time, walk in with your device in hand and ask them to plug it in before you pay.

Tip: If your battery is below 30% at boarding, grab a power bank here in the Main Terminal; PSP gate areas don’t always have enough outlets for a full flight’s worth of laptops and phones.
