Gate-side tech at PSP without leaving the Main Terminal
InMotion sits in the Main Terminal at Palm Springs International Airport and runs daily from 4:30 AM to 8 PM. It’s your electronics stop once you’re through security and realize your Lightning cable is dying or your noise-cancelling headphones didn’t make it into the carry-on.
Expect the usual airport mark-up: basic phone cables and wall chargers often land in the $20–$35 range, and name-brand headphones climb higher. You’re paying for speed and location, not deals. Still beats landing at LAX or DEN with a dead phone and no charger in sight.
The shop leans on travel electronics: headphones, earbuds, power banks, international plug adapters, and some Bluetooth speakers. If you forgot a USB-C laptop charger before a 6 AM departure, this is pretty much the only realistic fix inside PSP’s Main Terminal. Accessories skew mainstream—think big brands more than niche audiophile gear.
Staff usually plug in demo models so you can at least confirm fit and basic sound before dropping $100+. Keep packaging and receipts in your personal item until you’re sure everything works; returns are much easier same-day and same-airport. Don’t expect deep technical advice, but they handle the “will this fit an iPhone 15?” questions fine.
Tip: swing by InMotion before your boarding time hits T‑30; lines spike right after TSA when early-morning flights bank around 7–8 AM.
