Economy outdoor parking

5–7 minutes by shuttle from terminals, PB Economy is PRG’s basic outdoor lot

PB Economy sits on the airport grounds at Václav Havel Airport Prague, with a drive of roughly 5–7 minutes to Terminals T1 and T2 by the official shuttle. It’s an uncovered, outdoor economy car park, so your car stays in the open, not under a roof. This is one of the cheaper long‑stay options run directly by the airport operator, usually priced well below the terminal garages.

The lot runs 24/7 alongside PRG’s round‑the‑clock flight schedule, and you can enter or exit at any hour using your license plate or the QR code from your booking. PB Economy is fenced and monitored by airport security systems, the same operator that manages the P1 and P2 garages next to T1 and T2. You pay on entry by online reservation or at the on‑site machines before leaving the lot.

Shuttles link PB Economy to T1 and T2, and the ride to the terminal drop‑off zones usually takes under 10 minutes including loading. Plan a total of 20–25 minutes from parking your car to reaching check‑in, including time to find a space and wait for the next shuttle. If your flight leaves from T1 Schengen gates or T2 non‑Schengen gates, you still use the same PB Economy shuttle and then follow signs inside the terminal.

There’s no shade, so cars sit in direct sun and rain all day, which matters in July or during winter snow. Mark your row and section on your phone, because the outdoor layout can feel repetitive after a week away. One practical tip: build at least a 30‑minute buffer into your normal airport arrival time when using PB Economy, especially for morning departures between 06:00 and 09:00.
