P2

Short-term garage

P2 sits directly across from Terminal 2 for quick drop-offs

P2 is the short-term multi‑storey garage directly in front of Terminal 2 (T2) at Václav Havel Airport Prague. It targets stays of a few minutes up to several hours, so think pick‑ups, drop‑offs, or walking someone to check‑in. You park, lock up, and you’re at the T2 doors in roughly 2–3 minutes on foot, using the covered pedestrian route.

This garage runs 24/7, in line with T1 and T2 operating hours, and payment is fully automated at machines by the exits. Pricing at PRG short‑term garages usually runs in tight 15–30 minute bands, so P2 adds up quickly once you creep past the first hour. It’s fine for a coffee and goodbye at Departures, not great for leaving the car there for a whole day or weekend.

P2 mainly serves Terminal 2 (Schengen flights on airlines like Czech Airlines and many European carriers), but you can still walk to Terminal 1 in roughly 6–8 minutes if you mis-park. The route between P2 and T1 is fully landside, so it’s simple if you’re picking up arriving passengers who aren’t sure which terminal they’ll exit from.

Height limits in PRG multi‑storey garages typically sit around 2.0–2.1 meters, and P2 follows that pattern, so high vans and taller SUVs may have trouble. For anything oversized, look at open‑air or long‑term lots instead of forcing it into P2. Motorbikes and small city cars fit easily and are straightforward to maneuver between levels.

Practical tip: Use P2 only if your stop at the airport is under 2 hours; for longer trips, walk those extra few minutes to a long‑term car park and avoid short‑term garage pricing shock on return.
