Gate-level book fix in POS North Terminal

This plain “Bookstore” in the North Terminal sits airside, a short walk from most international gates at Piarco (POS). It’s small, basic, and focused entirely on books and print, not souvenirs or electronics.

Shelves carry Caribbean fiction, travel guides on Trinidad and Tobago, plus standard airport paperbacks and kids’ titles. You’ll find English-language bestsellers and a handful of local authors; prices usually run a bit above downtown shops, in line with typical airport markups.

Hours generally track the main international departures bank, opening early morning and staying open into the late evening when flights to the US and UK go out. If you have a 45–60 minute wait before boarding, you’ll have enough time to browse properly and still get to your gate without rushing.

Stock turns over slowly, so don’t expect release-day hardcovers, but you can usually grab a crime thriller, a romance paperback, or a slim Caribbean history title for the 4–6 hour flights common out of POS. There are also magazines and a few puzzle books for shorter hops around the region.
