Short stay

30–60 minute airport runs? Use Short Term Parking at PNQ

Short Term Parking at Pune International Airport (PNQ) sits directly in front of the NITB terminal, so you can walk from your car to the check-in doors in under 3–5 minutes. It’s set up for quick drop-offs, pick-ups, and brief terminal visits rather than overnight stays. Look for the signed "Short Term" area as you enter the main airport access road.

This is a short-stay car park with stays typically measured in minutes and a few hours, not days. Tariffs generally ratchet up in 30–60 minute blocks, so a 20-minute pick-up costs noticeably less than a two-hour wait. If you expect to be inside NITB for more than 3–4 hours, the bill here rises fast compared with longer-stay options on the airport campus.

The parking zone uses open-air bays laid out in straight rows in front of the terminal. Because it’s right at NITB, these spaces fill quickly at morning bank times around 05:00–09:00 and again in the evening wave after 18:00. If you’re doing a curbside-style pick-up, factor in an extra 10–15 minutes to find a bay and walk to the arrival gate area.

Access runs off the main PNQ approach road, with a single entry barrier recording your time of arrival. Keep the printed ticket handy; you’ll pay at the exit booth based on your total minutes parked. Cash is still common, but many booths now accept digital payments like UPI and cards for bills over a few hundred rupees.

Practical tip: check your passenger’s live flight status before entering the Short Term Parking gate; for delays of 30 minutes or more, wait on the approach road and roll in closer to the actual arrival time to keep charges down.
