Souvenir Shop

/T1

Near the main gates in T1, Souvenir Shop is the basic stop for last‑minute Palermo gifts. It sits airside in Falcone–Borsellino’s T1, so you can walk over after security without backtracking. Expect a compact space that focuses on quick grab‑and‑go items rather than long browsing.

You’ll see Sicily-themed items front and center: magnets with “Palermo” prints, keychains, and small ceramics, usually in the €5–€20 range. Shelves often carry regional food gifts like packaged cannoli shells, pistachio creams, and local biscuits; those run higher, around €8–€25 depending on size and brand. Nothing here feels luxury, more mid-range tourist pricing.

The shop’s hours track most departures from T1, generally opening in the early morning bank of flights and staying open until the last evening departures around 22:00. That timing works if you land, connect, or show up early and remember you forgot gifts. It’s inside security in T1, so passengers starting in Palermo or connecting within Schengen can all reach it.

Payment is straightforward: major credit cards, contactless, and euros in cash are all accepted, which helps if you’re burning through the last €10 in your wallet. Prices on simple magnets and keychains are often a bit higher than in the city center markets like Ballarò, but still reasonable for airport standards.

Plan 10 extra minutes in T1 to swing by, pay, and still get back to a nearby gate without stressing boarding calls.
