The General Car Park sits directly across from the single terminal T at Palma de Mallorca Airport, so you walk to check-in in roughly 3–5 minutes using the covered walkways. It’s a multi-storey structure run by the airport, so you’re parking on-site, not dealing with shuttles or off-airport addresses.

This car park suits short trips and work runs where time beats price. For stays of a couple of days, the higher daily rate typically balances out against the hassle and extra 15–20 minutes that off-airport shuttle lots add at PMI. For week-long holidays, the cost gap to private off-site parking starts to bite, so run the numbers before you lock it in.

Access is straightforward: follow airport signs for “Parking General” as you approach PMI on the Ma-19; entry is ticket-based with barriers and automatic number-plate recognition in most lanes. You’re parking in a covered multi-storey, so the car is out of the Balearic sun and rain, which matters in July and August when outside temps hit 30°C+ by midday.

Security is standard airport-operator level, with controlled entry and exit and regular patrols across several levels of parking. Elevators connect the upper floors with the pedestrian bridges that feed straight into the T departures area, so you’re not hauling bags across random service roads or waiting 10–15 minutes for a van.

Tip: If you’re flying at peak times (early morning bank of 06:00–09:00 departures), head for higher levels like floor 4 or 5 first; lower levels near T fill earlier and you save a few extra minutes avoiding the circling and backtracking.
