Long-term Parking Lot B

Long-stay

Most signs point to “Long-term Parking” near T3, not B

English guides usually only mention one long-stay car park by Terminal T3, so “Long-term Parking Lot B” likely means a second zone of the same budget area rather than a totally different facility. At Beijing Capital (PEK), long-term options cluster on the terminal side of the airport expressway, with shuttle or short walks feeding into T2 and T3 check-in halls.

Pricing at PEK’s long-term areas typically stays lower than the terminal-front short-stay lots, which are meant for drop-offs and pickups under a few hours. Expect daily rates instead of hourly stacking once you’re in the long-stay section, with payment taken at automatic machines near exits or at manned booths during standard operating hours. Keep your entry ticket; losing it usually triggers a flat “lost ticket” charge that can match several days of normal parking.

Access usually runs via the main airport ring roads feeding T3 on the eastern side of the field, with signs in both Chinese and English pointing to “Parking” and “Long-term Parking” before you reach the terminal ramps. From the long-stay area by T3, driving time to the terminal zones is often under 5 minutes, but traffic on the airport expressway can double that during weekday morning peaks around 08:00–10:00.

Transfer time from any long-stay section near T3 to security in T3 or T2 can hit 20–30 minutes once you factor in walking or shuttles, finding the check-in island, and the security queue. Domestic China flights in T2 and T3 usually ask you to be at the airport 2 hours early, and international flights often push that to 3 hours. Build your parking buffer on top of those numbers.

Closest thing to a tactic: photograph the row marker and a nearby landmark sign when you park, especially at night. PEK’s outdoor long-term sections can look identical after a 12-hour flight, and a quick photo on your phone can save 15 minutes of wandering with bags.
