Off-site connection

Most PEK hotel shuttles meet you outside T2 and T3

Hotel Shuttle Parking Area at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) isn’t a signed “car park” in the Western sense; it’s the cluster of hotel vans staging near the public pick-up lanes outside Terminals T2 and T3. Vans usually wait curbside opposite the arrivals exit doors, with drivers holding hotel signs in Chinese and English. Expect a walk of 100–200 meters from baggage claim to the shuttle pick-up curb at each terminal.

These shuttles run to off-site hotels that include guest parking, typically folded into the room rate or charged at about ¥50–¥80 per day. You’re parking at the hotel, not at PEK itself. Transit time from the terminal to most nearby airport hotels sits around 10–20 minutes depending on traffic on the Airport Expressway. This setup works best if you already plan to overnight near PEK and want to leave your car at the same hotel.

Hours vary by property, but airport hotels commonly advertise shuttle runs from around 05:00 to 23:00, sometimes on a 30–60 minute schedule. Some shuttles only depart on demand when guests call from arrivals using the hotel’s number, usually printed on your booking or on confirmation emails. Always confirm the first and last shuttle times with the hotel directly, in writing, especially for red-eye arrivals or 06:00 departures from T2 or T3.

There’s no shared, airport-managed Hotel Shuttle Parking Area map; each hotel picks a meeting point like Gate 5 or 7 in T3 Arrivals or a marked “Hotel Bus” bay at T2. You’ll often see multiple hotel vans lining up in the same lane, and your driver may call your name or show a printed list. Keep a screenshot of your hotel name in Chinese, as apps like Ctrip/Trip.com show both English and Chinese names.

Tip: Build at least 30–40 minutes between clearing customs and your shuttle time, especially at T3, so you’re not sprinting across the arrivals hall hunting for the right hotel van.
