Long-term Parking Lot A

Long-stay

¥60 per day beats the main PEK garages if you’re staying

Long-term Parking Lot A is the budget play near Terminal 3 when your car sits for several days or more. Pricing runs about ¥8 per half hour, capped at ¥60 per calendar day, so you undercut the ¥80 daily caps at the P1–P3 garages by a decent margin on every 24-hour block.

This is a true long-stay setup, not a walk-up garage. Lot A sits outside the terminal core by T3, and you reach T2 or T3 on a free airport shuttle bus instead of rolling bags straight into departures. Figure the bus ride plus waiting can add 15–25 minutes to your pre-flight routine compared with parking in P1–P3 right by the buildings.

Payment is straightforward: budget ¥60 per day, and expect the half-hour billing (about ¥8 each 30 minutes) only to matter on your last day if you exit mid-day. For a 5-day trip, plan on roughly ¥300 total, versus about ¥400 if you left the car in one of the closer P1–P3 garages at their ¥80 daily maximum.

The shuttle covers all terminals, not just T3, and runs on a loop between Long-term Parking Lot A and the PEK terminal area. That means a single parking decision works whether you fly CN domestic out of T2 or international long-haul out of T3. The trade is pure time versus cost: more minutes on a bus, fewer yuan on the bill.

Practical tip: flying out of T3 on a morning departure, aim to park in Long-term Parking Lot A at least 60–75 minutes earlier than you normally would for curbside drop-off to absorb shuttle waits and the extra transfer.
