P4 Parking

Long stay

15-minute shuttle run from P4 to Oslo Airport terminal T

P4 Parking sits in the long-stay zone with a shuttle bus that takes about 15 minutes to reach terminal T. It suits trips of several days or longer when you’d rather leave the car and forget about it until you’re back. The transfer is short enough that you don’t have to pad your schedule like the off-airport fields near downtown Oslo.

The shuttle typically runs every 15 minutes, so in the worst case you’re waiting a quarter of an hour and riding another quarter of an hour. Build that 30-minute block into your departure plans on top of check-in and security at Gardermoen. Coming home, bags off the belt to your car at P4 is usually under 30–40 minutes if passport control isn’t backed up.

P4 Parking is set up as a long-stay car park rather than a quick in-and-out lot, so day rates often work out cheaper once you pass the 3–4 day mark. You trade walking distance for a lower total bill versus the terminal-side garages right at T. If you habitually leave early on Monday and return late Friday, P4 tends to hit the cost‑vs‑hassle sweet spot.

There’s no terminal within walking distance from P4, so you rely on that 15-minute shuttle in both directions. That means winter timing matters; add another 10–15 minutes in January and February if the roads between P4 and T are icy. If your flight boards at 07:00, aim to park at P4 around 05:15.

Practical tip: Snap a photo of your row or section at P4 and the shuttle stop number before you leave; it saves a five-minute hunt in the long-stay rows when you land back at Oslo at 23:00.
