SAS Lounge International

T · E2 Open · Opens 1 hour before the first scheduled SAS departure and closes 30 minutes before the last scheduled SAS departure. 1k sqft

Above gate E2, SAS has merged the old Gold and Business lounges into one bigger International space.

The SAS Lounge International sits airside in Terminal T’s Schengen zone, up on the mezzanine above gate E2, reached by stairs or lift after you pass the duty‑free and shops. Access is for SAS Plus/Business passengers and EuroBonus Diamond, Gold or Elite Plus cardholders, so standard economy without status won’t get in. The merged layout means everyone now uses the same footprint instead of being split between two doors and two reception desks.

Opening hours track the SAS schedule: doors open about one hour before the first SAS departure of the day and close 30 minutes after the last SAS flight leaves. That timing works well if you’re on the late SK to CPH or ARN but does nothing for a 06:05 Lufthansa run to MUC or other early non‑SAS Star Alliance flights. If you like long pre‑flight lounge time, don’t arrive at Gardermoen three hours before the first SAS departure and expect this place to be ready for you.

Layout is essentially the former Business lounge on one side and the old Gold space on the other, now linked by a central hallway off which you’ll also find the restrooms. Each restroom cubicle is fully private with its own toilet and sink, but current 2025 walkthroughs don’t show dedicated shower rooms, so don’t bank on a proper refresh between long‑hauls. Several phone rooms and small glass offices for up to three people sit near the old Gold end, handy if you need a quiet spot for a Teams or Zoom call.

Food and drink are standard SAS lounge fare in the central dining zone closest to the restrooms and kitchen. Expect basic hot dishes at peak bank times, cold cuts, salad bar, and the usual bread and soup rotation rather than anything resembling a full restaurant, with self‑serve coffee machines and soft drinks throughout the day. Alcohol is typically self‑pour wine and beer, with spirits on the counter or nearby shelving, so if you want something specific, walk the whole length once before sitting down.

Two staffed SAS service desks inside the lounge are the real value during irregular ops, especially on winter days when OSL de‑icing backs things up and evening SK departures to hubs like CPH and ARN run late. Regulars head straight to these counters instead of queuing at the main terminal desks if they need rebooking or same‑day rerouting. Staff here see mostly premium traffic, so they tend to be sharper on Star Alliance through‑tickets and EuroBonus nuances.

Accessing the right space can be confusing: coming from security, ignore the early “SAS Lounge” hints near domestic and keep walking into the international Schengen pier until you reach gate E2, then go up one level. This is the only SAS lounge that serves international Star Alliance departures from OSL’s Schengen side, so don’t waste time wandering the F gates. Quick tip: if your boarding pass lists a non‑SAS Star Alliance flight before about 07:00, assume this lounge may still be shut and have a backup plan in the main terminal.
