OSL Lounge International

T · E8 Open · 5:15 AM to 08:30 PM Day pass NOK 445

Most non–Star Alliance flights at OSL funnel here by gate E8

The OSL Lounge International sits in Terminal T’s Schengen area, on the mezzanine above duty free near gate E8, up the stairs or lift by the Starbucks. It runs from 05:15 to 20:30, so it covers the first Air France and KLM departures and the evening Emirates and Qatar waves. Access comes via a long list of carriers including British Airways, Finnair, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines and Iberia, plus Amex Scandinavia, Lounge Pass, Dragon Pass, Lounge Key, or a paid day pass at NOK 445.

Inside, the layout is basic: armchairs and small tables spread across a dated open room, with windows facing the apron beyond the E‑gates. Regulars describe it as “pretty standard European lounge” territory and often extremely quiet, even before the 08:00 British Airways and Finnair departures. Power outlets are scattered but not at every seat, so if you see a free spot next to a working socket, grab it early.

Food draws the main criticism. Multiple reviews say dishes “are never touched” and look unappealing, even at lunchtime around 12:00–14:00. Expect basics: soup, bread, salad bits, and a few hot trays that sit too long. If you care about eating well, you’re usually better off grabbing a fresh meal downstairs in the terminal and using the lounge mainly for seating and Wi‑Fi.

Drinks are more acceptable: standard coffee machines, soft drinks, and self‑serve alcohol with basic wines and a couple of spirits, enough for a pre‑flight G&T before the 18:00–19:00 long‑haul bank. A “premium section” with better catering technically exists for airlines like Qatar and Emirates, but at least one post‑2020 review reports passengers being refused entry even when the door is open and lights on, so don’t count on an upgrade.

Wi‑Fi is free and described as “fairly quick,” fine for streaming or Teams calls before a 16:00 departure. Bathrooms sit at the rear of the lounge, but there are no showers, which matters if you’re about to board an overnight Emirates or Qatar flight. One blogger only saw a single staff member at reception and noted access checks looked lax, so don’t rely on tight crowd control during peak times.

Star Alliance elites and SAS passengers skip this place entirely and head to the SAS Business and SAS Gold lounges upstairs near security. Use OSL Lounge International when you want a quiet seat, a power outlet, and Wi‑Fi before a non‑Star flight from gate E‑piers; if your layover is under 45 minutes, keep the NOK 445 in your pocket and stay gate‑side instead.
