Schnitz sits airside in Gold Coast T1, a quick walk from the main security checkpoint, and runs from 5:00am to 7:30pm. It’s a fast-casual counter built around crumbed chicken, beef, and veggie schnitzels in rolls, wraps, and plates. Expect airport pricing: most mains hover in the mid-teens AUD, with chips and drink combo pushing it closer to twenty.

The menu at Schnitz sticks to basics: chicken parma-style schnitzels, simple salad-topped plates, and kid-friendly options served from early morning through dinner. Portions lean generous enough that one schnitzel and chips can easily cover a full meal before an evening departure from T1. If you’re tight on time, rolls and wraps usually move faster than made-to-order plates.

Breakfast runs from the 5:00am open, with schnitzel rolls and coffee poured alongside standard soft drinks and bottled water. Coffee is serviceable rather than specialty café level, and you’ll pay standard airport rates for a flat white. Seating is shared with nearby outlets in the T1 food court, so you can keep an eye on gate screens while you eat.

If your flight boards from a remote stand or one of the lower-number T1 gates, factor in a 5–10 minute walk from Schnitz to the boarding area. Grab your food to go if your boarding time is inside 20 minutes; trays and dine-in service slow things down when a bank of departures hits.
