Billabong sits airside in T1 at Gold Coast Airport, a few minutes’ walk from most domestic gates. It leans hard into the local surf brand, so you see stacks of logo tees, caps, and hoodies in Gold Coast colours. Prices run higher than street retail; think around AUD 40–50 for T‑shirts and upwards of AUD 80 for hoodies. If you forgot beachwear or want something that actually screams “Gold Coast,” this is one of the few spots past security that does it properly.

Opening hours largely track the first and last departures of the day, so you’ll usually find it open from early-morning bank around 6:00 through the evening waves of flights. Stock skews to adults, but there are some kids’ rashies and small accessories near the front racks. You also get basic travel extras like sunnies, thongs, and caps, but the focus is clearly on Billabong-branded gear rather than generic souvenirs.

Expect standard airport markups on everything from boardshorts to simple logo caps, often 10–20% above what you’d see in a city mall. That said, the store sometimes runs seasonal promos with discounted past-season designs on a dedicated rack, usually near the back wall. If you’re watching your spend, check that sale rail first, then move toward the full-price displays closer to the entrance.

Tip: if your gate is near the middle of T1’s domestic concourse, swing past Billabong before you sit down; it’s quicker to browse here once than to double back from the far end of the pier with boarding already started.
