10–12 minutes on foot from T1, P9 is the cheap lot
P9 sits a short walk from Nantes Atlantique’s T1 terminal and runs as the airport’s economy surface car park. It’s an uncovered outdoor lot, so your car stays in the open, but prices come in lower than the closer structures and premium zones by T1.
This is long‑stay territory: P9 usually undercuts the main terminal car parks on multi‑day and weekly bookings, making it the budget choice if you’re gone 3–14 days. It’s officially airport‑operated, not a random off‑site, so entry and exit use the same ticket and barrier system as the other NTE car parks.
Access is straightforward: you follow airport signs for “P9 Éco” as you approach NTE, then walk roughly 800–900 meters back to T1. Figure about 10 minutes with a roll‑aboard; add a few minutes if you’re herding kids or heavier bags. There’s no separate shuttle noted for P9, so assume you’re walking.
P9 is surface only, so no height limits from overhead beams, which helps if you drive an SUV, van, or car with a roof box. Standard spaces line open‑air rows, with marked pedestrian paths leading toward terminal T1. Lighting is similar to the other official car parks around NTE, and payment works via card machines or online prepay, depending on how you book.
Plan your timing around that walk: add 15 extra minutes on top of your normal airport arrival buffer to park in P9, lock up, and reach the T1 check‑in counters without rushing.
