Economy surface parking

5–7 minutes on the shuttle from P8 to Nantes T1

P8 is the economy surface car park at Nantes Atlantique, set up for longer trips when you want to keep costs down. It plugs into the airport’s shuttle loop, with typical transfer times to Terminal 1 in the 5–7 minute range once you’re on board. It’s open 24/7, so late EasyJet or Transavia returns aren’t a problem.

This is uncovered parking on standard asphalt bays, so your car sits outside in the Nantes weather the whole time. Spaces fit normal-sized cars; oversized vehicles or campers aren’t a match here. Because it’s a budget lot, you trade shade and proximity for price and the short shuttle hop to T1.

P8 usually prices below the closer car parks like P1–P3, especially once you cross the 3–4 day mark. Prebooking online often locks in a better daily rate than just driving up to the barrier. Payment works through the usual ticket system at entry and pay stations near the shuttle stop when you return.

There are basic wayfinding signs marked “P8 Éco” on the airport access road, and you’ll see the blue shuttle stop with a timetable posted. The shuttle runs every 10–15 minutes at most daytime hours, then stretches a bit later in the evening, so build a small buffer if you’re on a tight departure out of T1.

Practical tip: snap a photo of your row number and the nearest shuttle stop sign in P8 when you park; it saves a hunt across a large, open lot when you land back at Nantes late at night.
