P2

Close-in surface parking

3–5 minute walk from T1, P2 is the close-in lot

P2 sits directly in front of Nantes Atlantique’s T1 terminal, with the walk to check-in usually taking 3 to 5 minutes at normal pace. It’s a surface car park, so no ramps or tight turns, and spaces are laid out in simple rows that are easy to scan when you drive in.

This is one of the airport’s "proximity" options, closer than the long‑stay fields like P4 and P7, and you stay outside the main traffic loop for the P1 multi‑storey. Being ground level, P2 works better for bulkier vehicles than some covered garages, though height limits aren’t an issue here.

Signage for P2 appears on the approach roads just after the T1 drop‑off area, and you turn off at the P2 panel before reaching the more distant economy parks. Entry is via standard barrier with ticket or prebook code; pay stations sit near the pedestrian exit that leads straight towards the terminal frontage.

Pricing at P2 tracks closer to short‑stay than budget long‑stay, so it’s usually the trade‑off lot for trips of 1 to 3 days rather than a two‑week holiday. You pay a premium over P4 and P7 for the sub‑5‑minute walk, but it’s still cheaper than parking right up against the terminal doors at P1.

Lighting runs across the full surface area of P2, and marked pedestrian paths point you towards T1’s main entrance doors. Because it’s an open surface car park, there are no lifts or stairs between your car and the terminal, which helps if you’re rolling two or three checked bags.

Tip: aim for rows closest to the terminal‑side pedestrian exit when you enter P2; even 5 or 6 spaces closer can shave a minute off the walk with kids or heavy luggage.
