Korean Air Lounge

T1 Open · 07:20 ~ 20:45

Gate 26 in T1 is your landmark for the Korean Air Lounge

The Korean Air Lounge in Narita Terminal 1 sits airside near the Korean Air gates, so you’re close to boarding if you’re on KE metal to ICN. Hours run roughly 07:20 to 20:45, matching the daytime departure bank rather than late-night stragglers. Access is limited to Korean Air premium cabins and eligible SkyTeam elites on KE-operated flights, so this isn’t a Priority Pass stop.

Plan food like you would at a small regional lounge, not a Japanese flagship. Expect light snacks, instant noodles, small sandwiches, and basic cookies rather than full hot meals; most reviews mention using it for a quick bite before heading to T1’s public restaurants. Soft drinks, coffee machines, and standard beer, wine, and a couple of spirits usually show up, but don’t bank on rare labels.

The lounge sits on the smaller side compared to the big T1 partner lounges, and seating fills when a couple of 777 or A330 flights to ICN line up in the schedule. Power outlets line some walls and shared tables, so bring a 2‑ or 3‑port charger if you’re running two devices. Wi‑Fi speed is generally fine for email and streaming short clips, but upload can dip when a full flight crowd arrives 60–90 minutes before departure.

Showers depend on the current fit-out and can be limited; staff at the front desk usually quote a wait list in minutes when it’s busy around the 09:00 and 18:00 banks. If a shower is essential before a long-haul connection, ask immediately at check‑in rather than after you find a seat. Bathrooms are inside the lounge, which beats hiking back to the main T1 concourse during boarding calls.

The lounge sits airside in T1, so you must clear security and outbound immigration first; during peak morning waves that can mean 30–40 minutes from curb to lounge, even with automated gates. Korean Air often boards 30–40 minutes before departure at Narita, so set a hard alarm for “departure minus 45” and walk to your gate on time instead of waiting for the first boarding call to reach the lounge.
