ANA Lounge

T1 Open · 13:00-19:10 showers

13:00–19:10 at Narita T1: this ANA Lounge is for eating and showering, not lingering.

This ANA Lounge in Terminal 1 runs 13:00–19:10 and doubles as ANA’s main food-and-shower stop for afternoon departures. Access is for ANA passengers, and you’ll find two T1 locations: a lower-level 2nd floor lounge with better food quirks and a 3rd floor lounge with better views. Both sit airside in T1, so you’re fine once past security and immigration.

The 2nd floor ANA Lounge is the “food first” option. FlyerTalk regulars flag a noodle bar, a short sake bar lineup, and automated beer machines that pour a near-perfect head every time. One detail people chase: a sushi window that runs roughly 17:00–18:00, with simple pieces that still beat most gate snacks in T1. Showers here use Shiseido amenities and are a main draw after long-haul arrivals.

The 3rd floor ANA Lounge in T1 is about space and sightlines. Reviews call out open seating zones with direct views over gates and the runway, which helps if you like watching 787s push back while you eat. This lounge is a bit farther from the United gates in T1, so build in an extra 5–10 minutes of walking time if you’re heading to a UA departure at the far end of the pier.

Food quality beats the nearby United Club, especially in the 2nd floor lounge. Think noodles made to order at the bar, hot Japanese curry in the chafing dishes, and small sides that rotate through the 13:00–19:10 window. The sake bar usually carries a couple of labels at a time, and the beer machines tilt and top your glass automatically. It’s still lounge buffet food, but comments are clear: it’s the better bet in T1 for an actual meal.

Watch out for peak-time crowding in the lower-level space. The 2nd floor lounge has no windows and can feel boxed in from roughly 15:00–18:00 when ANA and Star Alliance departures bunch up. Seats near the noodle bar and beer machines fill first. Up on the 3rd floor you trade the sushi window for more breathing room and natural light, at the cost of that extra walk back to UA gates.

Regulars split their time: 3rd floor in early afternoon for quieter seating and runway views, then 2nd floor around 17:00 to catch the sushi window and grab a shower with Shiseido products. One practical move: if you’re on ANA or UA in T1, pick your lounge by departure time—3rd floor if you want space to work for an hour, 2nd floor if you’re chasing noodles, sushi, and a quick clean-up before boarding.
