First Class Lounge

T2 Open · 07:30-22:00

JAL First Class Lounge in T2 runs 07:30-22:00 daily.

This is Japan Airlines’ flagship lounge in Narita Terminal 2, past security in the main international departures area. It mainly serves JAL First Class passengers and top-tier elites flying from T2, so traffic stays lighter than the big business lounges nearby.

Food centers on Japanese hot dishes plus a made-to-order section at peak times, with curry rice, noodles, and small plates rotating through the day. Breakfast hours start right at 07:30, and the spread gradually shifts into more substantial options by late morning, so time your visit if you care about real meals versus snacks.

Drinks lean heavily on Japanese options, with at least one decent sake and whiskey on the counter alongside standard beer and spirits. Self-serve fridges hold soft drinks and canned beer, and coffee machines handle espresso and basic milk drinks. If you care about specific labels, expect middle-shelf rather than trophy-bottle pours.

Seating runs along the windows facing the T2 apron, with decent views of JAL widebodies during the mid-day bank. Power outlets sit between many armchairs, but not every seat has one, so scout a spot before you settle in. Wi‑Fi comes through the airport network and typically holds up well enough for streaming and video calls.

Showers are available inside the lounge, but staff often uses a sign-up list during evening departures after 18:00. Towels and basic amenities come included, and slots tend to run around 20–30 minutes. If you want a shower before a US or Europe departure, ask at the desk as soon as you check in.

Access is limited to JAL First Class and eligible oneworld elites flying out of T2 the same day, so economy passengers without status cannot buy their way in. If your flight leaves from a remote gate in the 90s, budget at least 10–15 minutes to walk from the lounge to boarding.

Practical tip: plan your lounge visit to wrap up 40 minutes before departure from any non-main pier gate in T2, so you can walk to boarding without clock-watching.
