Delta Sky Club

T1

Gate 22 in T1 is the landmark you’re aiming for

The Delta Sky Club at Narita sits airside in Terminal 1, near the North Wing gates around 22, so you’re already past security when you reach it. Access is for SkyTeam flyers and Sky Club members on same‑day tickets, so have your boarding pass and membership or status ready at the desk.

The lounge usually opens to match Delta’s transpacific bank, roughly 3–4 hours before the first Delta departure out of T1 and running until the last flight boards. If you’re on an early morning connection through Narita, check same‑day hours, as they can shift slightly with the schedule and season.

Food is mostly buffet style with a small hot section: expect things like Japanese curry, rice, miso soup, and a couple of hot sides, plus sandwiches, salad, and packaged snacks. Coffee comes from self‑serve machines, with cans of soft drinks and a basic beer and spirits setup in fridges along the wall. It’s solid for a pre‑flight bite, but not a full restaurant replacement.

Seating splits into work and rest zones, with rows of two‑top tables near the buffet and more relaxed chairs by the windows. Power outlets run under many of the seats closest to the interior walls, and Wi‑Fi speed is usually fine for video calls under 1080p. If you need real focus time, grab one of the quieter corners away from the entrance and food area.

Showers are the main perk here. There are usually several shower rooms, stocked with standard amenities and towels, and usage is typically limited to around 20–30 minutes during busy departure banks. Put your name down at check‑in if you want a slot before a long-haul to the US or Europe.

Alcohol is self‑serve, with Japanese beer on tap and a small lineup of house wine and basic spirits; anything more complex than a simple highball probably isn’t happening. All food and drinks inside are included with lounge entry—no separate menu pricing to worry about once you’re in.

Practical tip: if you’re coming from T2 or T3 on a recheck, budget at least 30–40 minutes to clear formalities and walk to the T1 North Wing so you actually get more than a quick drink before boarding.
