Cheaper than the NGO Starbucks, Dotour in T1 is where office workers grab coffee and a sandwich before riding the Meitetsu train or heading to security.
Dotour Coffee Shop sits landside in Terminal 1, on the station side of Chubu Centrair, so it works well for a quick stop the moment you walk in from the Meitetsu line. It’s a basic ¥ tier spot with drip coffee, espresso drinks, and light meals that come in under typical Starbucks prices in the terminal. Expect a steady stream of suits in the morning rush and early evening commuter wave.
Drip coffee runs roughly in the ¥300–¥400 range, and simple lattes stay well under what you’ll pay at the T1 Starbucks across the way. Food is the usual Dotour lineup: toasted sandwiches, hot dogs, and small pastries that land in the ¥300–¥500 bracket. It’s enough for a quick breakfast before a 08:00 departure or a light bite after landing on a late ANA or JAL flight.
The draw here is speed. Orders typically come out in a few minutes, and lines move faster than the Starbucks queue that often snakes toward the concourse by 07:30. Staff move quickly with prepped sandwiches, so you can be in and out in under 10 minutes if you’re just grabbing a coffee and one item. That matters if you still need to clear T1 security and board from gates 1–12.
Watch out for the cramped seating area, which regulars say gets slammed around 07:00–09:00 and again after 18:00, especially on weekdays. You might end up standing with your tray or taking everything to go back toward the station ticket gates. If you need a longer sit-down with a laptop, T1 airside cafés or the airlines’ lounges give you more personal space.
Tip: if your train arrives tight to check-in cutoff, grab a takeaway coffee and sandwich here, then eat once you’re through T1 security near your gate.
