Starbucks

Terminal A caffeine fix before boarding

This Starbucks sits airside in Terminal A at Lynden Pindling International Airport, handy for US-bound gates and early-morning departures. It operates daily, typically opening around the first bank of flights and staying open into the evening rush, so you can grab a latte before that 7:00 a.m. boarding call or a cold brew on a 6:30 p.m. turn.

Drinks follow the usual Starbucks lineup: tall brewed coffee hovers around $3–$4 USD, espresso drinks climb into the $5–$7 range, and larger custom frappuccinos can hit $8 once you stack extra shots and syrups. You’ll also see bottled water and canned sodas in the $3–$5 band, which is standard airport pricing in Nassau.

Food is the familiar pastry-case setup: muffins, croissants, banana bread, and breakfast sandwiches held in a warmer, with most items falling between $4 and $9 USD. Don’t expect a full hot kitchen; this is a quick-service counter built for grab-and-go between gate A8 and security. If you want something more substantial than a sausage breakfast sandwich, you’ll be looking at other restaurants in A, B, or C.

Lines spike heavily around the 6:00–9:00 a.m. wave when multiple US flights depart and again around mid-afternoon, about 2:00–4:00 p.m., when connections feed through. Baristas move quickly, but a 10–15 minute wait is common during those peaks, and mobile order isn’t a reliable option here compared to a mainland US store.

One practical move: hit Starbucks before you clear duty free and the final US preclearance checks if your gate is in A, because backtracking through the terminal eats time. Plan to be in line at least 25 minutes before boarding if you want both coffee and a bathroom stop without watching your zone already halfway down the jetway.
