Rhythm Cafe

Gate-side in Terminal C, Rhythm Cafe is your full-meal option

Rhythm Cafe sits past security in Terminal C at Lynden Pindling International Airport, so this is a workable choice if your Bahamasair or US-bound flight boards nearby. It runs standard daytime hours that generally track with outbound bank times, opening before the first mid-morning departures and closing after the last evening flights. Seating is normal restaurant tables rather than bar-only perches, which helps if you’re wrangling two or three carry-ons.

Menu pricing runs in the B$15–25 range for mains, which matches typical Nassau airport markups. Expect casual grill fare and Bahamian-leaning plates rather than fast-food combos. Figure B$6–8 for soft drinks or basic coffee drinks and more for cocktails or beer. Portions run bigger than what you’ll get at the nearby snack kiosks, so one entree can usually cover you through a 2–3 hour flight.

Food-wise, target simple grilled items, sandwiches, or anything that looks like it turns over fast during the lunchtime rush between about 11:00 and 14:00. That’s when the kitchen is moving volume and fries come out hot instead of limp. Skip anything that sounds overly sauced or complicated if you’re tight on time; airport kitchens here still share prep with other outlets and a “chef special” can drag to 30 minutes when half the room is closing out checks before 16:00 departures.

Service pace lines up with island time, so build in at least 45 minutes from sit-down to walk-away if you want a proper meal before a US preclearance flight. Tabs are payable in Bahamian dollars, US dollars, or by card, and the bill arrives with the standard 10–15% service expectation printed on it. One last thing: ask for your check as soon as your plates land if your boarding pass shows a T-C gate change risk—crew say those swaps usually pop up in the last 30–40 minutes before departure.
