Right after security in Terminal 1, Duty Free stretches on

This Duty Free in NAP Terminal 1 sits immediately past security, so you walk through it on the way to most gates. It runs standard airport hours, roughly from the first departures around 05:00 until the last evening flights close out. Layout is classic walk-through: perfumes and cosmetics up front, then liquor and local gifts deeper in.

Liquor prices are usually a bit below city shops, especially for 1L bottles of major brands like Campari and Aperol. You’ll also see big-name whiskies, gins, and vodkas lined up in promo islands near the center of the store. Tobacco products sit in a dedicated wall section with clear duty free limits posted in English and Italian.

Cosmetics and fragrance take up most of the entrance area, with the usual international labels and regular 2-for deals. Electronics are limited to basics: power adapters, charging cables, and some mid-range headphones that can double the street price. Snacks and chocolate skew international more than local, with the Neapolitan or Italian-branded items often grouped in one shelf near the liquor section.

Watch your liquids: if you’re connecting through another EU airport after NAP, make sure anything over 100 ml from Duty Free is sealed in the official STEB bag with a same-day receipt. If you just need a quick gift under €20, grab a small bottle of limoncello or boxed chocolates near the central promo stands and head straight to your gate in Terminal 1.
