By gate-side in Terminal 1, this is NAP’s main book stop

Bookshop sits airside in Terminal 1 at Naples International Airport, an easy hit if your gate is in the central Schengen area. It’s a small, traditional airport bookstore: magazines up front, paperbacks in the middle, kids’ titles and puzzles along one wall. You’ll also see travel guides for Italy and the Amalfi Coast, plus the usual bestsellers in English and Italian.

Prices sit in typical airport territory: paperbacks often around €12–€18, magazines from about €5, and small puzzle books in the €4–€8 range. You can also grab basic stationery like pens, notebooks, and travel-sized coloring kits for kids, handy if you’ve got a two-hour delay and need something to keep everyone occupied at gate level in T1.

Expect standard opening hours aligned with Terminal 1’s main flight banks, roughly early morning to late evening, so you’re usually fine for a 07:00 departure or a 21:00 return. There’s no seating area, just standing room in the narrow aisles, so plan on 5–10 minutes to browse and pay before you head back to boarding at NAP T1.

Stock tends to focus on mainstream titles rather than niche genres, with a noticeable lean toward Italian-language books and Mediterranean travel themes. You’ll still find a modest shelf of English-language novels and thrillers, good enough for a 2–3 hour flight to northern Europe but not deep enough for heavy readers on a long itinerary through Terminal 1.

Tip: If you want an English paperback at Bookshop in T1, stop in before peak departures around 08:00–10:00 or 17:00–19:00, as popular titles can thin out quickly on busy NAP days.
