Short-term

First 15 minutes in Terminal short-term parking are usually free

Terminal short-term parking at Naples International Airport sits directly opposite the passenger building for Terminal 1, so you walk to check-in in about 2–4 minutes. This is the car park you use for quick drop-offs, pick-ups, or staying close when you want the shortest walk to arrivals and departures. It is clearly signed as short-term at the entrance to the airport road system.

This short-term option at NAP is inside the main airport ring road, closer than the long-term areas by several hundred metres. It is open 24 hours, syncing with early-morning departures and late-night arrivals on seasonal flights. Payment is automated at machines near the pedestrian exits and at the vehicle exit, and tariffs run in hourly blocks, with higher daily costs than the outer long-term lots.

Because Terminal parking sits right by Terminal 1, it works best for stays under about 3–4 hours; after that, the daily rate usually makes the long-term car parks more economical. You can pay by card or cash at the machines, which show pricing in euros before you confirm. Lifts and marked pedestrian paths connect levels and guide you toward both departures and arrivals doors.

There is no dedicated reservation system for this short-term car park, so spaces are first-come, first-served, especially busy around morning bank departures between roughly 06:00 and 09:00. Height limits apply at the entrance, so larger vehicles and vans should check the posted clearance in metres before pulling in. Final tip: grab your ticket, park near the pedestrian exits facing Terminal 1, and pay at a kiosk before returning to your car to avoid queues at the barrier.
