20–30 metres from Terminal 1, this is NAP’s closest car park

Premium short-term parking at Naples International Airport sits directly opposite Terminal 1, usually a 1–2 minute walk to the departures doors. It’s on-airport and uncovered, so you roll your bag straight from the boot to the check-in desks without waiting for a shuttle. This lot is signed “Premium” on airport approach roads and is meant for quick access to the main terminal.

This is a short-term option, so pricing is higher than long-stay: it’s aimed at stays measured in hours or a couple of days, not a full week. Use it for quick business trips, drop-offs that might run long, or meeting someone off a flight in Terminal 1. If you’re leaving the car for 4–6 days or more, check the on-airport long-term tariffs first; the daily rate there usually undercuts Premium by a noticeable margin.

The Premium area uses standard airport pay-on-exit machines with ticket barriers at the entrance. Take a paper ticket from the column when you enter, keep it with you, and pay at the automated kiosks near the pedestrian exits before driving out. Machines accept cards and cash, and receipts show entry and exit times down to the minute, which helps if you’re close to an hourly cutoff.

There’s step-free access from Premium to Terminal 1, with dropped kerbs along the 20–30 metre walk. That helps if you’re juggling two wheelie bags or a pushchair. Lighting in the rows stays on through the night, and airport security patrols the terminal forecourt and adjacent parking as part of their normal rounds.

Tip: if you’re picking someone up, park in Premium only once the flight status board in Terminal 1 shows “arrived” and they’re through baggage; that usually keeps your stay under a single hourly charge band.
