Prouds Souvenirs

Next to the International departures area, Prouds Souvenirs is your Fijian-gift stop

Prouds Souvenirs sits airside in the International terminal at Nadi, just past security and passport control, so you can shop right up until boarding. It runs on typical Nadi departure hours, opening for early morning flights and staying open into late-night Australia and New Zealand departures. You’ll see it on the main walk toward the gates, with the blue Prouds branding hard to miss.

Prices skew higher than in Nadi town: expect keychains and small trinkets from around FJ$10, t-shirts in the FJ$30–50 range, and nicer Fijian handicrafts well over FJ$100. You pay for airport markup and last-minute convenience, but it saves a taxi into town or extra stops earlier in the trip. Cards are accepted in Fijian dollars, and most staff are used to handling AUD, NZD, and USD questions.

Stock focuses on Fiji-branded clothing, basic wooden carvings, shell items, and logo gifts; this is more “souvenir shop” than serious handicraft gallery. If you want something quick for kids or colleagues, the magnets, mugs, and fridge-friendly items near the front usually do the job. For anything that looks like authentic kava bowls or carved masks, check price tags carefully, as similar pieces in Nadi town can be 20–30% cheaper.

Plan 10–15 minutes here if you still need gifts before an International departure from NAN. Hit Prouds after security but before you get too close to your gate, since lines at nearby food spots can eat your buffer fast.
