Duty-free prices here are in Fijian dollars, not USD.
Prouds sits airside in the International terminal at Nadi (NAN), a short walk from most outbound gates. It’s one of the main duty-free options before you board, so you’ll probably pass it on the way to security or your gate anyway. Signage is clear, and it’s open for the bulk of international departure waves, especially around late-night Australia and New Zealand flights.
The shop leans hard into Fijian souvenirs and gifts. You’ll see bula shirts, sulu, shells, tapa-style items, and branded “Fiji” merch alongside standard duty-free staples. Prices are in FJD; rough rule of thumb, divide by about 2 for USD, 1.8 for AUD, or 1.7 for NZD, depending on rates. If you forgot to pick up something in town, you can still grab a last-minute gift here without a huge airport markup compared with resort shops.
Prouds also carries the usual duty-free liquor, perfume, and chocolates, with promos changing around peak seasons and school holidays. Stock isn’t as deep as a big hub like SIN or HKG, but you’ll generally find mainstream whisky, rum, and vodka brands, plus some Fiji rum. If you’re tight on time before an international departure, you can hit this in 5–10 minutes and still make it to the gate comfortably.
Card payment is standard, and most major credit cards go through as FJD charges, so factor in your bank’s foreign transaction fees. Tip: check the small printed receipt to confirm any duty-free allowances for your final destination before you walk away from the counter.
