Pizzeria

International terminal post-security, Pizzeria is the default hot meal.

Pizzeria sits in the International departures area at Nadi, after security and immigration, so it’s one of the few hot-food options left once you’re airside. You’ll see it near the main gate cluster used by Fiji Airways widebodies and some Jetstar flights, with counter-style ordering and basic table seating.

Menu boards lean on the basics: cheese, pepperoni, and a couple of meat or veggie pizzas, usually sold as whole pies or by the slice. Expect airport pricing, with a single slice typically in the FJD $10–$15 range and whole pizzas landing closer to FJD $40–$50 depending on toppings. Portions run large enough that one pizza can cover two people on a medium-haul run to Australia or New Zealand.

Drinks are standard: bottled water, soft drinks in cans, and the usual fridge of juices and a few canned beers, often Fiji Gold or Fiji Bitter. Figure on FJD $5–$8 for soft drinks and closer to FJD $10–$12 for beer. There’s no table service; you order and pay at the counter, grab a number, and staff call you up when the pizza tray hits the pass.

Service hours track the long-haul bank, so you’ll usually find Pizzeria open in the evenings ahead of Fiji Airways flights FJ350 to Sydney or FJ410 to Auckland, and again early mornings when flights like FJ810 to Los Angeles are checking in. Overnight lulls happen, so don’t count on it during the dead shoulder between banks; if your flight leaves after midnight, eat before heading to the gate.

Tip: if you’re tight on time, order slices instead of a whole pizza; they’re already in the warmer and usually hit your tray in under 5 minutes, which helps if boarding for your gate starts 30 minutes out.
