Next to the Domestic terminal departures hall, this café keeps things simple
Domestic Café sits airside in Nadi’s Domestic terminal, a short walk from the check-in counters for Fiji Link flights. It mainly serves passengers on the Suva, Labasa, Savusavu, and Taveuni runs who want something quick before boarding ATR or Twin Otter hops. Seating is basic counter-style with a handful of tables, and you can usually still see the small domestic gates from your chair.
Food leans on grab-and-go standards: pre-made sandwiches, pastries, and simple hot items when the grill is running. Expect pricing in the 8–20 FJD range for most snacks and light meals, roughly in line with the International terminal cafés on the other side of NAN. Coffee, soft drinks, and bottled water are available, plus a few packaged chips and chocolate bars if you just need something for a 30–40 minute flight.
Opening hours roughly match the Domestic departure waves, so the café tends to open before the first morning flights and close after the late-afternoon services to Suva and the northern islands. If you’re on a very early charter or a delayed evening departure past 20:00, don’t count on a full menu; pack something from town or from the International side before you re-clear into Domestic.
Service is counter-order with pay-upfront, and orders usually land in under 10 minutes when there’s only one flight boarding. When two or three departures crowd the small gate area, queue times jump, and hot food can sell out around peak windows tied to the Suva and Labasa banks. Card payments in FJD work, but it’s worth having a 10 or 20 FJD note in case the terminal connection drops.
Practical play: if you have more than 60 minutes between arriving internationally and a domestic connection, eat something substantial in the International terminal, then use Domestic Café for coffee or a snack top-up before boarding.
