Bus

€10 pre-booked seat from Malpensa to Milano Centrale

Terravision runs a fixed MXP–Milano Centrale bus for budget planners who like to lock in costs before they fly. One-way tickets usually sit around €10–€12 when bought online, and the ride takes about 50–60 minutes traffic permitting. Buses serve both T1 and T2, then go straight to Milano Centrale station with no extra city stops.

At Terminal 1, Terravision buses depart from the coach parking area outside the arrivals level near exit 6, while at Terminal 2 they use the bus bays in front of the terminal used by easyJet passengers. The schedule typically has departures every 20–30 minutes during the day, with less frequency late at night after about 23:00. First runs usually start soon after 05:00, matching the early low-cost inbound flights.

Most people pre-book online and show a QR code or printed voucher to the driver at boarding. Online booking locks your seat on a specific MXP–Centrale run and shows the exact time, terminal (T1 or T2), and bus stop number on your confirmation. If your flight lands early, you can usually board an earlier bus if there’s space, but the booking itself lists only one chosen departure time.

Tickets bought at the airport from the Terravision desk or kiosk cost slightly more than the web price by €1–€2 per person. Kids often pay a reduced fare; check the current child price on the website before committing, especially for a family of 3–4. Round-trip options can trim a couple of euros off the total if you already know your return date and time from Milano Centrale back to Malpensa T1 or T2.

Luggage goes under the bus in standard coach bays, and normal cabin suitcases and backpacks ride free within the stated size and piece limits on the Terravision site. Bigger items like bike boxes or oversize sports bags may be refused or charged extra depending on the driver and the day. The bus drops you on Piazza Luigi di Savoia, on the east side of Milano Centrale, a 3–5 minute walk from the main concourse.

For a Ryanair or easyJet-style budget plan, buy the online ticket as soon as you lock in your flights and note the exact departure time and terminal. Then add a 30-minute buffer after scheduled landing at MXP before your chosen Terravision slot in case passport control or baggage claim drags. That simple tweak usually saves you from paying again for a later bus.
