P6 Smart

Long-stay parking

P6 Smart sits in the long-stay zone at Malpensa T1

P6 Smart is the official long-stay car park at Milan Malpensa, serving Terminal 1 (T1) with shuttle access to departures. It targets trips of several days or more, so pricing usually works out better from around the third day compared with the closer short-term options. You park in an uncovered surface lot, pick your own space, and keep your keys.

This car park is outside the immediate terminal loop, so plan an extra 10–15 minutes for the shuttle ride to T1. The shuttle runs on a loop and drops you near the main departures area for Terminal 1, which handles most intercontinental and Schengen flights. If you’re flying from T2, check your airline first; you may need to transfer between terminals on the free airport shuttle, which adds more time.

P6 Smart typically prices by calendar day, with long-stay promos often undercutting garages closer to T1 by several euros per day on week-long trips. You pay at the official airport machines or online, in euros, using cards or cash. Because spaces are uncovered, factor in Milan’s winter fog and summer sun when choosing where to leave the car, especially for longer than 7 days.

The car park is fully outside the security perimeter, so you handle parking first, then ride the shuttle, then clear security and passport control in T1. There’s standard CCTV and perimeter fencing in line with SEA Aeroporti’s other official lots, but no dedicated valet lane or car wash like some premium options closer to the terminal. Lighting runs across the main aisles, which helps if you’re returning on late flights after 22:00.

Practical tip: book P6 Smart online at least 24–48 hours ahead; drive-up prices at Malpensa’s official lots usually jump sharply on peak Fridays and around August holidays.
