P2 Top Car

Premium covered parking

150 meters from T1 check-in, under cover the whole time

P2 Top Car sits next to Terminal 1 at Milan Malpensa, roughly a 2–3 minute walk from the main departures hall. This is a multi‑storey, fully covered car park, so your car stays shielded from Lombardy rain and summer sun. Access is direct from the airport ring road, with clear “P2 Top Car” signs as you approach T1.

The car park links to T1 via a short covered walkway, so you roll bags straight into the terminal without shuttle buses. If you’re flying from T2, factor in the free inter‑terminal shuttle, which runs every 7–8 minutes and takes about 10 minutes between T1 and T2. Elevators connect each parking level to the pedestrian route, which helps if you have large suitcases.

P2 Top Car is priced as a premium option, usually a step above the standard P2 Long Term tariffs at Malpensa. Online prebooking often locks in lower daily rates than drive‑up prices at the entry barrier. You pay at automated machines or by card at the exit; tickets are scanned on entry and exit, so keep the paper slip handy.

Security here is stronger than the open‑air lots: the structure is gated, entry is ticket‑controlled, and airport staff patrol the T1 parking area around the clock. Lighting runs across all levels throughout the night, and CCTV covers ramps and pedestrian exits. Height limits apply due to the multi‑storey design, so tall vans and roof boxes may not fit under the posted clearance.

For an early morning departure from T1, aim to enter P2 Top Car at least 2 hours before your flight, giving yourself 10–15 minutes to park, walk to departures, and clear security without rushing.
