Right in Terminal 2, Lufthansa WorldShop trades miles for merch

Ten minutes from most Lufthansa Schengen gates in Terminal 2, Lufthansa WorldShop is where people burn spare Miles & More balance on physical stuff instead of upgrades. You can pay with euros, miles, or a mix of both, which helps if you have a stranded 4,000–10,000 miles that never quite reach award level.

The shelves lean hard into Lufthansa-branded gear: model aircraft, amenity-kit-style accessories, travel pillows, and Rimowa-style luggage tagged with the crane logo. Expect cabin bags starting well over €150 and smaller logo items like keychains and tags under €15. It’s all airside in T2, so you clear security first, then walk toward the central shopping zone.

Electronics and travel gadgets fill the rest: Bluetooth headphones, power banks, and adaptors that actually work with German Schuko sockets. Prices trend a bit higher than MediaMarkt in Munich city, but not absurd for airport retail. If you’re topping up with miles, check the in-store conversion rate before you commit; it can shift from the online Miles & More shop.

Stock moves fastest before morning departures from 07:00–10:00, especially on the suitcase wall. If your flight from Terminal 2 boards at a non-Schengen gate like K or L, give yourself at least 15 extra minutes to walk back from the shop to the farther piers.
