Acqua di Parma

Perfumery & Cosmetics

1

Gate-side in Terminal 1, Acqua di Parma focuses on one thing: high-end Italian fragrance and skincare.

This standalone boutique in Terminal 1 sits airside, so you can browse after security without backtracking through the general duty free maze. The store carries the main Acqua di Parma lines you see in city centers, not just airport gift sets, so you can match a bottle to something you already own or test a new cologne before committing.

Expect premium pricing in euros that tracks regular retail: you’re not getting a deep discount, but you also won’t pay more than downtown Munich. The shelves lean heavily on classic citrus scents like Colonia, Blu Mediterraneo, and the brand’s shaving and grooming products, plus gift boxes sized for carry-on. Staff usually speaks German and English, and they know the differences between the flankers if you ask.

There’s no pharmacy, no makeup from other brands, and no travel-sized drugstore basics here, so plan a separate stop if you need sunscreen, painkillers, or mascara. Figure 10–15 minutes for a reasonable test-and-buy stop, longer if you’re sampling multiple lines or boxing up gifts. Fragrance testing strips and in-store sinks make it easier to try hand washes and creams without boarding with sticky hands.

Quick tip: if you’re tight on time in Terminal 1, head here with a specific Acqua di Parma line in mind (for example, Colonia Essenza or Blu Mediterraneo Fico di Amalfi) and ask directly for that shelf to avoid browsing laps.
