Minnesota Beer Hall

1 ★ 4.1

22 taps of local beer is the whole point here

Terminal 1’s Minnesota Beer Hall leans hard into local breweries, with about 22 draft lines pouring regional IPAs, lagers, and seasonals. It sits post-security in Terminal 1, so you’re fine to settle in if your boarding pass says 1 and you’ve cleared the main checkpoint. Expect a bar-first setup with some tables, more like a taproom than a sit-down restaurant.

The menu runs standard bar fare at airport prices, with burgers and sandwiches typically landing in the $16–$20 range and appetizers hovering around $10–$14. Beer flights are usually the best value if you want to sample several Minnesota breweries without committing to a full pint. Figure on 20–30 minutes from order to food when it’s moderately busy, so build that into your gate time.

With a 4.1 rating, this isn’t a throwaway stop, but it’s still an airport bar: service speed swings with the rush before the big Delta banks in Terminal 1. The tap list changes often, so ask what’s actually on today instead of going off an old QR or menu card. If you care about ABV, check the board; some of the local IPAs and double IPAs push past 7.5%, which can hit harder at 35,000 feet.

Food-wise, stick to the basics: burgers, fries, and whatever wing special they’re running are safer bets than anything too complicated. Given the price of a pint creeping toward $10, it’s easy to drop $35–$40 on a beer and a meal with tip. If you’re tight on time, grab a single draft and skip food; use your phone to watch the clock and aim to leave the bar at least 25 minutes before boarding starts at your gate.
