Orange Ramp

Terminal 2

$19 daily keeps you on-airport at Terminal 2

Orange Ramp sits at Terminal 2 and plugs straight into the enclosed walkway, about a 3-minute walk from the Sun Country check-in counters. It’s part of MSP’s “Value” parking setup at Terminal 2, sharing that category with the neighboring Purple Ramp but in the same structure as Hourly.

The Value side of Orange caps at about $19 per day, a big drop from the roughly $36 daily max posted for Hourly parking in the same ramp. Drivers parking a week for a Sun Country run routinely aim for Orange or Purple Value instead of Hourly because the math adds up fast over 5–7 days.

Inside the Orange Ramp, overhead signs split Value vs Hourly lanes, and the Value path is what feeds into the Terminal 2 walkway. If you follow the wrong lane or drive to the wrong level, you can wind up in the Hourly section instead and pay the higher daily rate even though you’re in the same physical ramp.

Regular T2 flyers usually try Orange Value first for long trips, then swing to Purple if Orange shows full on the entrance signs. Both Orange and Purple count as Terminal 2 Value parking when marked as such, and both connect into the same general terminal area used by Sun Country at MSP.

Watch out during peak holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, when drivers report Orange Value filling early in the day and pushing them into Purple or even Hourly. If you’re watching cost, slow down at the entry plaza, follow the “Value – Orange” arrows, and double-check the garage-level signage before locking the car.

Tip: Screenshot the posted Orange Value daily rate and take a photo of your section’s Value sign before heading to the Terminal 2 walkway; it makes any later billing questions with MSP parking much simpler.
