Green Ramp sits in the color-coded Terminal 1 complex (with Red, Blue, Gold, Silver) and uses the same posted Daily and Hourly pricing as the others. It’s signed off the main inbound road, and most people end up here simply because that’s the lane they’re already in. Treat it as interchangeable with the other T1 ramps unless you have a strong habit for one color.

The walk from Green Ramp into Terminal 1 runs about 5 minutes, using enclosed walkways and elevator cores that feed directly into the Lindbergh terminal. You park, find the nearest elevator bank, and follow the green signage toward ticketing and security. If you’re catching Delta or another Terminal 1 airline, you’re inside and at the main checkpoint quickly compared with off-site shuttles.

Daily parking at $26 adds up fast, so Green Ramp fits best for 1–3 day trips where on-airport matters more than saving a few dollars. Hourly is also available at the same structure if you’re doing a pickup, dropoff, or meeting someone in the T1 lobby. Payment is all standard MSP: tickets, license-plate recognition in some lanes, and credit cards on exit.

In winter, regulars try to park on lower covered levels in Green rather than the exposed upper decks, mainly to avoid wind and icy patches reported on higher levels. Some locals specifically aim for stalls near interior elevator cores so they’re not walking long stretches in subzero wind chills. Same structure, different experience when the weather swings below 0°F.

Frequent MSP flyers complain less about Green Ramp itself and more about forgetting where they parked inside this color maze. One traveler joked that Green, Red, Blue all blur together after a long trip. The simple fix: drop a pin in your phone or snap a photo of the level and section sign the second you step out of the car.

Tip: On arrival, follow availability signs, take the first decent spot in Green, then mark the level and row in your phone before you start that 5‑minute walk to Terminal 1.
