One of the only food options in Terminal B
In Maputo’s domestic Terminal B, Kiosk Domestico is basically the snack stop once you’re past security. Reviews call the terminal “largely devoid of facilities,” so treat this as backup, not your main meal. Expect simple packaged snacks, soft drinks, maybe a few sweets, and basic airport pricing rather than city prices. Think quick grab-and-go to hold you over for a 1–2 hour wait, not a sit-down break.
The kiosk sits airside in Terminal B, used for domestic departures like LAM’s internal routes, so you’ll see it after security, near the few gates. Hours aren’t published, but feedback suggests it roughly tracks daytime flight banks, so don’t count on it late at night or very early, say before 06:00. Bring cash or a working card; smaller African airports sometimes have card issues, and you won’t find many alternatives here.
Watch out for the lack of real food: several Skytrax and SleepingInAirports reviews mention only one or two basic kiosks in the whole domestic area and nothing resembling a proper restaurant. Regulars in Maputo often eat in town first and pick up water and snacks at a supermarket like Shoprite or a mall café before heading to the airport. Do the same: arrive with a full stomach and just use Kiosk Domestico for top-ups and a bottle of water before your flight.
