One minute from MTB, this is the “drive anyway” lot

Car Park 2 sits at one end of the MTB terminal, about a 1‑minute walk to departures. It’s an uncovered, on-airport surface lot that feels more like a quick-stop zone than a true long-stay garage. Private cars pay the standard airport rate of MOP 6 per hour, the same tariff used across both official outdoor car parks.

Macau International Airport only talks about “two outdoor car parks located at both ends of the terminal,” both charging MOP 6 per hour, so most locals don’t even bother learning the names. Car Park 2 functions as the small, end-of-terminal option: park, lock, and you’re at the MTB doors in under a minute, with no shuttle, no lift, and no ticket machines buried in a mall.

Despite being listed as long-stay, usage skews short. Most frequent visitors on FlyerTalk mention simply getting dropped off and using taxis or hotel shuttles to Cotai or the historic center, skipping parking entirely. That keeps these lots relatively low-profile: paid parking is “available directly at the airport,” but guides rarely break them out beyond that generic line.

Facilities are basic. Both outdoor car parks have special parking spaces near the terminal for disabled drivers, and the pricing tables show no different rules or time bands for Car Park 2. It’s all open-air, so your car sits in full Macau sun and rain; if you plan to leave it for several days, factor in heat and weather.

Tip: Only drive and use Car Park 2 if you really need to keep your own car at MFM; otherwise, follow the regulars and take a taxi straight to MTB instead of paying MOP 6 per hour to leave the car outside.
