Gate 6 in MTB puts you closest to the China Eastern Lounge entrance.

This is the main China Eastern lounge for Macau International Airport, sitting airside in the MTB terminal after security. Signage points you upstairs near the mid-terminal gates, so you do not need to exit to landside. It mainly serves China Eastern and SkyTeam passengers on regional flights, and lounge access rules follow your ticket or status rather than any paid walk-in option.

The lounge usually opens around the first China Eastern departures of the day, roughly 2–3 hours before morning flights, and shutters after the last evening bank. Plan around a closing time close to the final China Eastern departure from MFM. If you have a late-night non-SkyTeam flight, expect to sit in the public seating instead, as staff tend to clear the room quickly once the last eligible flight boards.

Food is a small buffet setup with a few hot trays, typically holding items like fried rice, noodles, and one basic meat dish, plus packaged snacks. Drink options lean soft: canned sodas, bottled water, tea, and machine coffee, with limited or no alcohol selection depending on the day. Think functional calories before a 2–3 hour hop, not a full restaurant replacement, and prices for any chargeable extras generally track what you see in the terminal.

Seating runs along the windows with a partial view toward the single runway at MFM, so you can watch A320s and 737s turn around between departures. Power outlets are scattered under the seats and along some walls, but not every chair has one. Wi‑Fi uses the airport network with a login page; speeds tend to handle basic email and messaging better than large downloads.

Showers are not consistently available here, and there are only a few regular restrooms inside the lounge itself. If you want a more thorough freshen-up before a long-haul connection on China Eastern, do most of that at your origin airport instead of relying on MFM. The room is compact by regional standards, so a full 737 or A320’s worth of status passengers can fill most chairs at once.

One practical tip: check your boarding pass for an MTB gate number before heading upstairs, and only commit to the lounge if your flight leaves from gates 1–8; anything further and you will want extra walking time back through the terminal.
