Jewellery Boutique

T1

Gate-side jewelry shopping in T1

Just past security in Terminal 1, Jewellery Boutique sits in the main departures retail run, aimed at passengers who want something more polished than fridge magnets before boarding. It is airside, so you need a boarding pass in hand before you can browse.

Expect mid-range to higher-end pieces here rather than souvenir trinkets; prices often start around the equivalent of OMR 15–20 for simple items and climb quickly for gold or gemstone work. Stock typically leans into Gulf tastes, so you will see yellow-gold designs and ornate sets alongside simpler, travel-friendly pieces.

The shop keeps the same hours as most T1 duty-free outlets, generally opening from early-morning departures around 05:00 through to the late-night long-haul bank. That makes it workable for both the Europe and Asia waves that pass through Muscat, as well as local Omani traffic.

You will not find watches, electronics, or fashion here; Jewellery Boutique is focused on jewelry only, which helps if you already know you want earrings, bangles, or a necklace and do not want to dig through non-jewelry counters. For watches, you will need to hit other T1 specialty stores instead.

Practical tip: factor in at least 10–15 minutes before boarding for browsing and sizing, and leave another 5 minutes to walk back to most mid-90s gates in T1 so you are not sprinting with a new ring box in hand.
