T4 MasQMenos sits landside near check-in, not by the gates
MasQMenos in Terminal T4 is on the public side of the building, near the main departures check-in area, so this works best before you go through security. It’s a Spanish chain focused on jamón, simple bocadillos, and cold beer. Think quick pre-security bite rather than a long sit-down meal before a boarding call at gate H, J, or K.
Most bocadillos run around €6–€9, and a plate of jamón ibérico can push into the low teens, so it’s mid-range for Madrid but cheaper than many airside sit-down spots at MAD. You’ll see classic options like jamón serrano, lomo, and tortilla de patatas, plus basic salads and a few pastries for around €3–€4. Coffee, beer, and wine are all on tap so you can make it a quick breakfast, a caña and sandwich, or a light tapas plate.
Service style is counter-order with food brought to your table, and timing at normal crowd levels sits around 10–15 minutes from ticket to plate. That’s useful if your check-in opens exactly 2 hours before a Schengen flight and you’re trying to eat before the security line. Seating is standard high-top and table mix, so don’t expect much in the way of privacy for a Teams call, but it works for a quick 20-minute sit-down.
Portion sizes skew on the smaller side compared with downtown Madrid bars, but still decent for an airport; one sandwich and a drink usually lands near €10–€12. Quality is firmly chain-level: jamón is good enough, bread is fresh enough, and nothing tastes microwaved. It’s the kind of place you choose because you want Spanish flavors instead of another generic burger at T4S.
Practical tip: if your flight leaves from T4S via the satellite train, aim to finish at MasQMenos at least 75 minutes before departure so you have time for security plus the underground shuttle ride.
